About Dr. Hussain

Janell recently joined the practice to examine patients in the clinic and assist in the operating room.  She has multiple years of experience in the medical field in various specialties. Janell was a Registered Nurse for over 20 years in the critical care float pool/swat nurse where she developed an array of experiences. After obtaining her master's degree, Janell gained experience in family practice within acute and chronic care along with correctional and occupational care. Janell is also a professor at Simmons University, teaching clinics for Nurse Practitioner students.  She has a passion for teaching to mold people for growth.   Janell is a goal-oriented and self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills. Her ideology is to help people achieve their health care goals.   Janell became a provider to make a difference in people's lives and educate them about their health.

Janell has four children; she has a son and three daughters. She also has two dogs, two cats, and 2 turtles, which contributes to controlled chaos. In her free time, she enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, and being outdoors, overall.  Janell has a passion for painting and drawing. She has a love for dance, as she grew up dancing ballet.  Janell loves going to Barre classes for exercise.
